The Thickness Checker function of the Advanced Compare Module automatically indicates areas of a critical i.e. userdefined wall thickness e.g. in casting parts.

Areas where the wall thickness runs under the defined value are highlithed clearly and can be displayed alone while the values are indicated by a colour scale.

Especially when it comes to very large and complex casting models the development time will be reduced efficiently using a software supported inspection. In addition to this, the advanced compare technology saves precious human recources increases quality and avoids costly changes already in an early stage of the product development.

Clash Detection for Assemblies

The function "Collision Detection" dependably indicates intersections between parts within assemblies and highlights the related areas. The html Logfile documents the errors in form of a list as well as through pictures of the parts, their position in the assembly and the related collision partners. Hyperlinks in the logfile allow an easy access to the 3D models.

Advanced Compare

The highly precise Advanced Compare Module recognizes differences between 3D Models i.e. revisions and displays them in the userinterface. Parts as well as Assemblies of diffent CAD Formats can be compared and investigated in detail with the systems clipping and measuring functions.

Advanced Compare Assemblies

This film shows the comparison of assemblies. Trough the automatic detection of "matching parts" even assemblies of different formats and part naming can be analysed. Furthermore it will be highlighted how the assembly-structure itself can be compared and how the differences are shown in the userinterface as well as in the logfiles. The simultanous diplay in the multi window userinterfaces makes it easy to analyse the models.

Wall thickness analysis

This film shows how areas of a critical wall thickness e.g. in casting models are being indicated and highlited by the
Advanced Compare Module. Areas with a thickness below a user defined value are marked with a colour gradient and can be displayed seperately.
